People become involved in their communities and schools for two primary reasons -- to serve their fellow residents and to shape the future of their communities. Most are lay people who want to bring their best efforts and thinking to bear on issues affecting their communities.
Our philosophy is to empower them with the most (cost) effective processes and tools for framing the collective vision of their communities and for making sound, timely decisions that help make that vision a reality.
We believe that, with the right strategic framework, residents serving on different committees, commissions, and boards can:
- Help shape a vision for the future that preserves community values.
- Deliver excellent services while keeping taxes reasonable (making governance a good value).
- Become self-sufficient in using strategic governance.
